The 295+ DB (Database) automatic balancer brought a new level of accuracy and convenience to balancing rotating equipment on a balancing machine. This was the most user-friendly balancing instrument on the market with features that make it easy-to-use for the novice or experienced user.
The 295+ is the latest release of the Model 295 balancing instrument providing the user with both and updated software package and enhanced usability features, ideal for both users new to balancing and experienced operators alike.
A wide range of features are available to cover all the requirements of precision balancing, including comparison to established tolerances and printing a user customizable certificate to document the balancing results.
The touch activated, flat LCD screen allows quick data entry and menu selection. Screen prompts and online help files assist the operator in obtaining fast accurate results. Polar or large digital displays are available to provide the operator with a graphic representation of the balance vectors. Visual color identification is provided for "in tolerance" and "out of tolerance" conditions.
Built on a Windows®7 platform with newly designed internal electronics, the 295 is a "drop in" upgrade to the Model 236, 246, 290 and many other IRD Balancing Instruments. Data files, external keyboards and printers are easily accessible via the USB ports.
The 295+ enhances the features of the already stellar 295 with the following:
-larger touch screen for easier viewing and user entry when making adjustment and reading balancing information
-built-in Wi-Fi for network compatbility and print and transfer balancing reports with ease - no cables required
-Two additional USB ports located on the front panel plus two on the back panel for easy connectivity
-VGA port on the back panel to set up an external monitor for additional viewing options
-Power button moved to the front of machine for usability and general software updates to improve performance
-Robust storage database to streamline production by saving and accessing detailed balancing records directly from the touchscreen
