The polyester-bonded ISOMICA tapes are offered in several different constructions designed to meet the individual requirements of the user in AC or DC motors and generators. 64213 tape is used extensively for ground wall insulation in form-wound coils up to 6.9kV. They are also used for lead insulation and as layer and turn insulation in dry-type transformers.
These soft tapes are an ideal solution for making flexible nose sections for coils while using resin-rich tapes in the ground wall.
